  • Popis: Rena Eleftheriou, who is the director of a travel agency in New York, comes to Greece on holiday with Jenny, her pretty niece, and Jim Pappas, a Greek-American. Her brother needs funds to develop the mineral-water springs he has found on his wife’s property. Rena wants to help him, so she goes to Rhodes to meet Petros Ramoglou, a businessman who can contribute financially. Andreas, who is Ramoglou’s son, and Kostas Kaliakoudas, his friend, want to become stars. They are crazy about Jenny and decide to win her heart by changing roles. Andreas pretends to be the poor Kostas and manages to charm the girl, while Kostas pretends to be the rich Andreas, and meets Efi Ramoglou, who has just arrived on the island. This causes a lot of trouble, especially when Martha, Andreas’ girlfriend, who is an actress, arrives as well. Andreas and Jenny run off to Hydra, but Martha follows them so that she can reveal everything to the young woman. When she does, there is a major crisis in their relationship. Nevertheless, Andreas is very persistent and manages to win Jenny back, while Martha has an affair with a film director, Paul, who gives her the leading role in his new musical. Ramoglou decides to fund Rena’s brother, and she gives in to Pappas’ overtures in the end.
